The AFCM is an international chamber music festival held in Townsville each winter. In 2010 the AFCM will celebrate its 20th anniversary from Friday 30th July to Saturday 7th August.
Initiated through the vision and commitment of the former Vice Chancellor of James Cook University, today the AFCM has developed into one of the most successful regional classical music festivals in Australia. Recently the AFCM won the National ABC Limelight Award for Best Event/Festival for 2009.
