Breaking Barriers is set to deliver an inspiring and thought-provoking afternoon centred on health, wellbeing and community connection in the Burdekin.
Hosted by the ever-engaging Jessica Rowe, the event will feature special guest speakers Sam Thaiday and Dave Kramer, along with local voices sharing real experiences and perspectives. Together, they will explore important topics around mental health, resilience and the challenges faced within our communities.
This uplifting event aims to spark meaningful conversations, break down stigma, and encourage greater awareness and support for wellbeing across the region. With a mix of personal stories, insights and shared experiences, Breaking Barriers offers a welcoming space for connection, reflection and inspiration.
This initiative is funded by the Queensland Government, Tackling Regional Adversity through Connected Communities Grant Program.
